The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of MalawianBravehearts (0-1) on the court of top-ranked Mozambican Fer.Beira on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Fer.Beira 78-66 . It was a good game for American guard Josh Thomas (193-1997, college: Milwaukee) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Ismael Nurmamade contributed with 13 points for the winners. replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Ian Limbe added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Bravehearts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending Mozambican champion (1-0) left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with Thunder and Dar City. Bravehearts at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with Matero Magic and Blazers.
